Why you should use 2FA for Airbrake?

Airbrake is a powerful error tracking tool that helps developers identify and fix bugs in their code. But even the most secure platform can be vulnerable to attacks, which is why it's important to enable 2-factor authentication (2FA) to protect your account.

Enabling 2FA adds an extra layer of security to your Airbrake account by requiring a second form of authentication in addition to your password. This can be a code generated by an app like our Authenticator, or a physical token like a YubiKey.

By enabling 2FA, you can rest assured that even if someone manages to steal your password, they won't be able to access your Airbrake account without the second factor. This can help prevent data breaches and keep your sensitive information safe.

In addition to enabling 2FA, there are other security and privacy tips you can follow to further protect your Airbrake account. Make sure to use a strong, unique password and never reuse passwords across multiple accounts. Keep your software and devices up to date with the latest security patches, and be wary of phishing scams and other social engineering attacks.

At Authenticator, we take security and privacy seriously. Our app uses industry-standard encryption to protect your 2FA codes, and we never store any of your data on our servers. By using our app to store your Airbrake 2FA codes, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your account is secure.
