Why you should use 2FA for Common App?

Common App is a widely used platform for college applications. With so much personal information at stake, it's important to take steps to protect your account. That's where 2-factor authentication comes in. By enabling 2FA, you add an extra layer of security to your account, making it much harder for hackers to gain access.

When you enable 2FA on Common App, you'll be asked to enter a code from your Authenticator app in addition to your password. This means that even if someone manages to steal your password, they won't be able to access your account without also having your phone or other device.

At Authenticator, we take security and privacy very seriously. Our app uses industry-standard encryption to keep your 2FA codes safe and secure. We never store your codes on our servers, so even if our app were to be hacked, your information would still be safe.

In addition to enabling 2FA, there are a few other steps you can take to protect your Common App account. First, make sure you use a strong, unique password that you don't use for any other accounts. Second, be wary of phishing scams and never click on links or download attachments from unknown sources.

By taking these simple steps, you can help ensure that your Common App account stays secure and your personal information stays private. So why wait? Enable 2-factor authentication today and enjoy peace of mind knowing that your account is protected.
