Why you should use 2FA for University of Waterloo?

The University of Waterloo is a prestigious institution that values the security and privacy of its students and faculty. One way to ensure this is by enabling 2-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.

2FA adds an extra layer of security to your login process by requiring a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your phone or a fingerprint scan. This makes it much harder for hackers to gain access to your account, even if they have your password.

In addition to enabling 2FA, there are other steps you can take to protect your account. Make sure to use a strong, unique password and never share it with anyone. Avoid using public Wi-Fi when accessing sensitive information, and always log out of your account when you're finished.
